We did not dock her tail and do not believe in docking. She was rescued from a shelter in Southern California off of the euthanasia list and came to us that way. We have a strict no cosmetic procedure policy for all animals.
Belle was rescued from the Carson Animal Shelter in Los Angeles just minutes before she was to be euthanized. Mistreated in her past, she came to us fearful and hesitant—but what a transformation she’s had! Now, Belle gives the best hugs, kiss-nibbles, and couch cuddles you could ask for.
She’s a 4-year-old tri-color German Shepherd/Black & Tan Coonhound mix, spayed and fully vaccinated. Belle is playful, loving, and fiercely loyal. She will guard her person with her life and snuggle you like there's no tomorrow. A secure yard is essential for this beautiful girl to stretch her legs and enjoy her playful zoomies. Her name means “very beautiful” in Italian (Bellissima), and it fits her inside and out.
